With five decades of photography under my belt, I've been involved with just about all forms of photography. My photos have been published in books, magazines and newspapers, displayed on Web sites from Paris to Tokyo and shown in galleries in Arizona, New York, Ohio, North Carolina and Virginia. Two museum showings at the Butler Institute of American Art (2004 and 2008) in Youngstown were among the highlights. I was born in Virginia, schooled in North Carolina and worked in Virginia and Ohio as a journalist. Throughout my working life, I've also produced art photos, even when art photography didn't garner much respect.
